L'Oreal - Studio Secrets Magic Skin Beautifier B.B. Cream

Hello everyone !

First they came the AA creams, then BB creams and lately I've heard so many brands releasing their new CC creams, but what are all those letters about?

Here's the difference:

• AA Cream - stands for Anti-Aging typically in a cream or moisturizer,  are used in products that help reduce wrinkles, sagging, discoloration, blemishes,  etc.
• BB Cream - stands for Beauty Balm or Blemish Balm, it's a combination of a moisturizer with the coverage of a foundation that usually helps with other concerns such as fine lines, oiliness, SPF protection, blemishes, primer, etc. I think this are the ones that I've heard about the most.
• CC Cream - stands for Color and Care or Color and Correct, basically is an advanced BB cream, they are designed to offer more coverage and moisturize, plus they have anti-aging ingredients.

I've been using for 5 or 6 months the L'Oreal BB Cream, personally it's my favorite one, because I have an oily type skin, and this is perfect for that, I feel other BB creams make my skin even oilier so I was in love with this cream from the very first time I used it!

This is what I've experienced:

I apply it every morning after washing my face, since my skin is oily, immediately I feel that this cream takes away the shine, and creates a perfect base for my foundation.

 It comes in 4 different shades: Fair, Light, Medium and Deep.

The cream comes out white and when you start to apply it in your face it blends and transforms into your perfect color! it's so easy to use, after that I apply my makeup as usual.

The main before/after difference is that my face has a flawless base and feels moisturized and protected all day long.

Olay - Regenerist micro-sculpting eye cream & lash serum duo

This is what I experienced:

This product is a combination of an hydrating eye cream with a nourishing lash serum, I've been using it in the mornings and nights.

Since using the cream, I have seen improvements, the skin around my eye area is softer and looks great, feels very moisturized, a little cream goes a long way! The texture is very light and non greasy at all, after a week I notice my eyelids and lines are smoother.

The serum it's great! I can feel my lashes look thicker, I apply it before mascara in the morning, and at night just before going to bed, the bristles are a little bit sharp, but after 2 or 3 times you don't feel a thing,  I can't wait to see if they start to grow more!

The main before/after difference is that my eye area looks smoother and my lashes thicker and fuller ! Definitely a beauty must have!

ALGENIST - 10 Day Challenge

Hello!

A few days ago I wrote about the Algenist 10 DayChallenge, for 10 days I tried their Concentrated Reconstructing Serum formulated with Alguronic Acid, the serum minimizes the appearance of deep wrinkles and fine lines, while helping to restore skin density and elasticity. The oil-free serum is dermatologist tested and is safe for all skin types.

Although I applied the serum in all my face, my biggest concern was some fine lines around my eyes when I smile, so that was the part I put most of my attention to

The results were AMAZING ! not only did I noticed my skin is much more smoother, the fine lines around my eyes have almost disappeared, I never expected what a big difference 10 days could make !

StriVectin - Get Even Brightening Serum

Hello March!

Today I'm going to talk about the StriVectin-EV Get Even Brightening Serum, I like this brand very much, they focus on  antiaging skin treatments and skincare products.

I believe that taking good care of your skin is the most important part of feeling and looking beautiful, it even allows the makeup to look better and you feel more confident.
I got this sample from an online promotion they did a while ago!

This is what I experienced:

I use it at night after cleaning my face, it's a lightweight cream that absorbs very quickly on my skin, I have sensitive skin and prone to break outs but I was happily surprised to see that the product didn't cause any!

After a few days I noticed that it did lighten my skin and it felt really soft!  I even started to apply less foundation !

The main before/after difference is that my skin feels softer, brighter and my pores look smaller.

Burt's Bees - Sensitive daily moisturizing cream

I got some samples of the Burt's Bees  Sensitive daily moisturizing cream a couple of weeks ago.  I like Burt's Bees very much because the company makes their products with natural ingredients and they engage in environmental friendly practices, it's always great being able to give back!

I tried them in the mornings after washing my face.

This is what I experienced:

It's a lightweight moisturizer so you don't need to use a huge amount of it, it has a nice scent, and like all Burt's Bees products, it is made with mainly natural ingredients.

I do have sensitive skin, so I like that it didn't cause any irritation at all, the only thing is that since it does not contain SPF I like to add some extra on my face, but everyone is different !

The main before/after difference is that my face feels smooth all day with no oily residue!

Clinique - Acne Solutions Clear Skin System Starter Kit

A couple of months ago I traded some of my Sephora Beauty Insider points to get a deluxe sample of the Clinique Acne Solutions Clear Skin System Kit, I always love to try samples before purchasing the full size product, because that way you can see exactly how the product works on you, I fell in love with Clinique products a long time ago, I will never forget the ads that had the baby chicken on it! do you remember them?

This is what I experienced:

On my deluxe sample I got a cleansing bar, but I noticed that on the actual kit it comes a cleansing foam instead.  I washed my face with the bar, then I applied the clarifying lotion and the clearing moisturizer at the end. I didn't see results the very next day but after a week I could see a difference in my skin, it was clearing up and I wasn't getting new break outs, the thing I like the most about it is that it did not dry out my skin like many acne treatments do.

The main before/after difference is that I got less break outs and my pores and scars became less visible!

First of all, I LOVE all Olay products ! I bought this moisture cream last month and I've been using it since then.

This is what I experienced:

When I wash my face in the mornings I apply a small amount over my face and neck, I like a lot the texture, is not to watery or greasy and it smells great!

Its light enough to use it twice a day, although I only use it in the mornings, my skin feels amazing throughout the day and it has UV protection so there's nothing more I can ask for !

Wait ! did I mention the price? I love Olay!

The main before/after difference is the soothing feeling in my skin, and knowing that my face is protected all day!

AHAVA - Purifying Mud Mask

I received a sample of this Purifying Mud Mask back in September in the Sample Society box from Beauty Bar, I tried it and I fell in love with it! I didn't use a lot of mud masks before, but this was different!

This is what I experienced:

I began using it in the mornings, after washing my face I applied it in my skin, it's so easy to spread and a small amount covers all your face, it goes a long way! the mud mask itself is a light gray color, and it stays that way in your skin, the texture is a little grit but it feels nice, it has a bit of an earthy smell.

The mask dries up quickly, and it tightens  a little bit too.

After 2 minutes I washed my face and I was really happy with the results! my skin felt so smooth and clean, I even noticed a difference with my pores!

The main before/after difference is the clean feeling in my face and I also noticed that my skin was less oily than usual through the rest of the day!

A couple of months ago I began using the Laser Resurfacing Serum from PHYSICIANS FORMULA (I won one in a Facebook promotion they did), and I absolutely love it!

This is what I experienced:

Every night, after washing my face, I applied a thin layer of the serum,  my skin felt an instant soothing cooling sensation, and it smells AMAZING, even my husband noticed it!
